Tyreek Hill’s off-season has been anything but quiet.
More than a week after a lawsuit was filed against the star Miami Dolphins wide receiver, Hill is now going at others who just stood and watched as his house caught on fire.
In January, Hill’s Florida home was a ablaze while he was at practice with the Miami Dolphins. Thankfully, the incident resulted in zero injuries and casualties. Reportedly, the blaze was accidentally started by one of his children playing with a lighter in a bedroom.
It took firefighters nearly two hours to end the fire. According to NBC News, the fire only stayed in one room but resulted in major water damage to the pro bowler’s home.
During his recent appearance on “The Pivot” podcast, the “Cheetah” addressed how stressful that day was and how he did not appreciate that fellow Floridian Rick Ross gave social media play-by-play updates about the status of his home as it was going up in flames.
Hill stated, “First off I just wanna say, Rick Ross, bro, I can’t vibe with you now bro. I can’t f**k with you no more bro. Rick Ross man. You had the audacity to talk to a fireman instead of come protect. You got my number bro.”
He continued, “You get on Twitter, posting me all over Twitter, like, after what me and my family went through. You’re supposed to be the neighbor. The neighborhood hero!”
Ross recently responded on Instagram: “Tyreek Hill, I wasn’t picking on you homie,” Ross said. “I wasn’t picking on you at all.”
Meantime, Hill may need to focus on more pressing matters.
In February, a lawsuit was filed against the star wide receiver by a model/social media influencer who claimed he broke her leg during an encounter in June 2023, where the two were doing a football drill that resulted in the NFL player getting a little too rough. She is currently seeking up to $75,000 in damages, according to the Miami Herald.
