President Barack Obama has officially proclaimed June to be African-American Music Appreciation Month—also known as Black Music Month—and we’re celebrating all month with some of your favorite artists, who tell us who their favorites are. We had the pleasure of chatting with R&B songbird Tweet, and she let us know that while no one can hold a candle to Marvin Gaye, Beyoncé and Rihanna have both pleasantly surprised her, and Aretha Franklin's music is her favorite to cover.
