TV One's 'Unsung' Honors Whodini

Unsung on cable's TV One will chronicle the musical contributions of Whodini, the 1980s rap group made famous for its chart-topping hit, "The Freaks Come Out at Night."

The group scored several urban-radio hits throughout the 1970s and '80s, and despite having its music featured heavily in music samples and films and on sitcoms, few people know about Whodini's role in bringing hip-hop to the main stage.
