President Donald Trump has no problem whatsoever when it comes to exorbitant expenditures paid for by the American people—even if he used to troll then-President Barack Obama for the very same thing.

The president seems to have no issue with a $24 million upgrade to Air Force One, the jet Trump uses to go to Mar-a-Lago in Florida and golf nearly every weekend. The presidential plane is primed to receive new refrigerators—’cause you know Trump has to have somewhere to store his Big Macs and KFC Original Recipe chicken thighs.

CNN reports that the Air Force awarded Boeing a $23.6 million contract in December to replace two of the five “cold chiller units” aboard the aircraft.

The fridges haven’t been updated since 1990, and because it’s Air Force One, many of its components require unique testing by the Federal Aviation Administration, which obviously drives up the price.

When he was running for president, Trump boasted that he would swap out Air Force One with his private jet because the entire Air Force One program’s “costs were out of control.”

In fact, Obama reportedly had to scrap plans to upgrade his helicopter fleet in 2009 after those costs were made public.

At least one person in the Obama administration clapped back on the fact that ole hypocrisy personified seemed to have no problem with Air Force One these days.

Former senior adviser to President Obama Eric Schultz said that if his boss had even attempted that crap, “we would have been impeached.”

But in Trump’s world, the rules don’t apply to him.
