In his never-ending obsession with former President Barack Obama, President Donald Trump on Monday acted with no Scout’s honor.

During a rambling keynote address to the Boy Scouts of America’s National Jamboree in Glen Jean, W.Va., our esteemed leader goaded the group to boo his predecessor, modeling the epitome of class for the more than 35,000 young men gathered.

“By the way, just a question. Did President Obama ever come to a jamboree?” Trump asked the crowd, some of whom booed in response.

“The answer is no, but we’ll be back,” Trump said.

The Daily Beast reports that Trump also touched on the value of “loyalty.”

“As the Scout law says, a Scout is trustworthy, loyal,” Trump said, pausing dramatically. “We could use some more loyalty, I will tell you that.”

How ’bout loyalty to the Constitution, Mr. President?

The speech, supposedly for the kids, always came back to Trump’s favorite subject—himself. As the Daily Beast notes, Trump has continued to relive the moment he won the election, with the news site reporting the following exchange:

“Do you remember that famous night on television, November 8th?” Trump asked the crowd at one point, referring to election night, as chants of “U-S-A! U-S-A!” echoed around him. “Do you remember that incredible night, with the maps?”

“You know, I go to Washington and I see all these politicians, and I see the swamp, and it’s not a good place,” he continued. “In fact, today I said, ‘We ought to change it from the word “swamp” to the word “cesspool” or perhaps to the word “sewer,”’ but it’s not good. Not good. And I see what’s going on. And believe me, I’d much rather be with you.”

The Hill reports that while Obama never came to a Boy Scouts gathering, he did record a video message to the National Jamboree in 2010 for its 100th anniversary.

Obama was a member of the Indonesian Scout Association as a child, reaching the equivalent of Cub Scout; the Daily Beast reports that former Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Gerald Ford and John F. Kennedy were all Scouts, while Trump was never a member of the organization.
