Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross took some time out of being a guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to address the Hollywood sex scandal, which, as she rightly pointed out, is not really a scandal but “a systemic problem” that “has enabled a culture of inequity to persist for far too long.”

“Treating another human being with respect isn’t complicated, but it seems a bit confusing for a lot of men out there,” Ross said while opening the segment. “So I wrote a book. It’s kind of a children’s book for men that is going to make this really simple and just bring it back to the basics.”

Then the star launched into an epic reading of The Handsy Man, breaking it down really nice and slow for those creeps who can’t seem to wrap their heads around inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment.

“You may not compliment my butt/You may not call me ‘ho’ or ‘slut’/And even if you’re stoned or drunk, do not expose me to your junk,” she read. “And if I am your employee, don’t rest your hand upon my knee/No, I won’t sit on your lap/I shouldn’t have to say this crap.”

So maybe the next time you find yourself having to explain to some pervert (or having an argument with a pervert by association or a pervert defender) about why certain things are inappropriate, save yourself the time and energy and play back this video for them so things can be made really nice, simple and succinct.
