Our favorite horrible mayor is back on the Internet, reminding us that trying to stay on the beat remains his life's work.
Embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford made an appearance Saturday night at a fundraising event for the Beat Academy, a Canadian organization dedicated to "hitmakers in the making," which is slated to officially open its doors this spring.
Ford stepped behind the DJ booth and pressed dutifully on a drum machine's buttons in an attempt to make something that sounded like a rap beat. See another fun instance of his rhythm deficiencies here. (The time he danced with a choir at a black church, though, wins them all.)
Gawker astutely points out that in the video below, Ford walks into the event to Pusha T's "Numbers on the Board," a song about cocaine. It's a fitting introduction.
Keep 'em coming, Mayor Ford.
