Many of us were more than ready to leave 2019 in the dust—and are already dubious about the start of this new year. But as a new decade dawned, celebrity offspring-turned-celebrity in her own right Zoë Kravitz opted to reflect on one of last year’s highlights; at least, one of her highlights. The Saint Laurent ambassador and newly crowned Catwoman got hitched to longtime love and fellow actor Karl Glusman in June, and while the Parisian nuptials were relatively private at the time, in celebration of her first half-year of marriage, Kravitz shared some never-before-seen images from the wedding, which looked like the down-to-earth-yet-fairytale wedding Pinterest boards are made of...with that additional celebrity sparkle, of course.

Groom Glusman and singer-songwriter and fellow celebrity offspring Toshi Reagon on hand to officiate.

Damn it. How can we be down? We love Paris!

And then, the reception, where the bride gave us all the new-millennial Audrey Hepburn moments in a ballet-inspired tea-length gown designed by friend and dress designer Alexander Wang as she and Glusman cut into an array of (probably vegan but nonetheless delicious) cakes. Zoë’s star-studded Big Little Lies cast was there, as was Alicia Keys and...fried chicken, eaten by hand? Our kind of party...

It was the kind of wedding we’d love to be invited to—but unfortunately weren’t, because Zoë’s only a close friend in our heads. But as our style files go, the Kravitz-Glusman nuptials hit all the marks: glamourous locale and guests, gorgeous gown, good food, great family and, most importantly, true love...and if there’s any energy we’re most hoping to bring into 2020, love is the message.
