According to an excerpt from the June 2013 issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine about the upcoming VH1 biopic Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story, the group's creator, Ian Burke, is feeling more sad than crazy, sexy or cool when it comes to the made-for-TV movie.

Why? It pretty much leaves him out altogether. In exchange for conceptualizing the group, he got a single line.

Stephanie Dayton: Ian, did VH1 or the screenwriter consult with you at all?

Ian: No! At all. Being in the music business and being a film buff, I get it. There are certain things you're gonna have to skate over and gloss over and make things a little more intense to [hide] other things because you want the entertainment value. I get it.

Stephanie: Knowing that it's down to one line in this film when you played such a big part in it, how does that make you feel?

Ian: Oh, it hurts. Absolutely it hurts.

Stephanie: How would you describe what your impact has been on TLC?

Ian: As far as I'm concerned, I created it. That will always be my baby.
