Tisha Campbell-Martin announced in a statement through her rep Thursday that she and her husband, Duane Martin, have decided to part ways.
As People magazine reports, the pair have been together nearly 30 years and married for more than 20.
Campbell-Martin, best known for playing Gina on the iconic TV show Martin, also tweeted out the announcement.
“After 27 years of being together and 2 amazing children, it pains me to announce that I’ve filed for divorce,” the 49-year-old actress wrote. “It’s an emotional time and I graciously ask for privacy for me, our children and the rest of our family.”
She added that she and Duane Martin consider themselves “family forever.”
The pair, who married in 1996, have two children together: 16-year-old Xen and 8-year-old Ezekiel.
Campbell-Martin is set to appear on Empire soon and has new music on the way, according to E! News, but what fans are most pressed to know is whether she and her former Martin castmates will be reuniting anytime soon.
The rumor mill began churning again after she, Martin Lawrence and Tichina Arnold were spotted earlier this month having a steak lunch in Burbank, Calif., by TMZ.
“Never say never,” Lawrence told the outlet.
