Speaking of losing having jobs. Time, Inc., the magazine empire is poised to layoff 250 employees. Time Inc. CEO, Ann Moore, and Editor-in-Chief, John Huey, recently reported a plan to cut their total work force of 10,200 employees by 600. The four-year-old Cottage Living is being scrapped all together and other magazines (People and Real Simple) are also expected to get hit. These cuts are due, in large part, to dropping advertising revenue. Still there are more changing eating patterns and standing in unemployment lines.
