Looks like Tiger Woods and EA Sports have broken up. The video-game company and the golfer have agreed to go their separate ways, and the split appears to be mutual, the Huffington Post reports.

"We had an incredible run," Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, told Darren Rovell of ESPN.com. "Outside of Madden, you would be hard pressed to find a sports figure that meant as much to a video game company as a Tiger meant to EA. But times are changing and EA had to re-evaluate the partnership and frankly so did we."
The two birthed the "Tiger Woods PGA Tour" game franchise, which dominated the video-game golf market for some 15 years.
But EA Sports has wasting no time getting back into the game. The company has already announced plans for Next Gen Golf game, the Huffington Post reports.
