In a recent interview with Wired, Tiffany Haddish announced that she once auditioned for Flavor of Love but declined when she found that the love interest would be Flavor Flav.
I mean, can you blame her?
While Haddish was out here hustling and promoting her new No. 1 film, Night School, she sat down for an interview where she answered questions based on some popular Google searches. Apparently, there are hosts of people who think we all look alike because one of the questions was “Is Tiffany Haddish New York?” New York, who is arguably the queen of reality television and also named Tiffany, was a love interest/contestant on the iconic VH1 series.
“You know I auditioned for that show,” was her followup after she vehemently said “no” to being confused with New York, aka Tiffany Pollard.
But Haddish’s response to being a potential love interest for the romantically challenged Public Enemy hype man, musician and rapper? It could basically be summed up with a simple, I’m good luv, enjoy.
Real talk: I, too, would have respectfully declined such an opportunity because there is not enough money on God’s green earth that would ever make kissing Flavor Flav acceptable. I respect those of you who have done it, but it is not my ministry nor is it my portion.
