America's Next Top Model is nearing its end. This season, its 22nd, will be its last, Variety reports. Tyra Banks, the reality show's mastermind, host and executive producer, tweeted about it Wednesday.

The series was one of the pioneers in the reality genre—pitting aspiring models against one another as they battled it out in competition after competition to see who would be crowned that season's top model.
The show has had a long run, debuting in 2003 and quickly becoming one of the UPN's (eventually the CW's) most highly watched shows, Variety reports.
Kudos to Banks for a successful run. She's already onto the next project: She's currently hosting a fashion-and-beauty talk show called FABLife on ABC.
