While Rihanna and her stylish, rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky are used to being in the news for their fabulous fashions, adorable parenting moments and more—there’s one unlikely member of their team that’s starting to garner attention.

That person would be none other than one of Rihanna’s bodyguards—who just so happens to be a woman. Though not much is known about this new face, the unidentified woman has been seen accompanying the “ANTI” artist on numerous occasions as she strolled to restaurants and various events over the years. In one recently resurfaced video posted to X/Twitter, the woman can be seen holding Rih’s purse and keeping a watchful eye over the pop star as she stops to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.

In other photos, she can be seen in the background of paparazzi shots along with a male bodyguard as they accompany both Rih and A$AP while out and about. Thanks to the aforementioned photos and video, this woman bodyguard is starting to become the talk of the timelines in an endearing and hilarious way.

“I love that now Rihanna has a female bodyguard,” wrote one user on X/Twitter, to which another user commented: “She look like she don’t play either.”

“I trust her. She looks like a school administrator who walks around with a walkie talkie and breaks up fights,” another said.

Over on TikTok, users had a similar reaction with a handful of fans praising the fact that the “Lift Me Up” singer would choose to have another woman looking out for her safety.

“Women protecting women,” she wrote.

Said another, “Best female bodyguard.”

It’s more than likely only a matter of time before more fans latch onto this new protective face as Beyhive fans have done with Beyonce’s longtime bodyguard Julius. But unlike Bey, Rih’s changing course and hopefully setting a new standard of having women bodyguards around for high-profile folks. We already know women are fierce protectors as it is, it’s nice to see it in action in this way.
