Proving that no one is stopping her bags, Cardi B’s long-awaited collaboration with fast-fashion retailer Fashion Nova finally has a drop-date: Her highly-anticipated capsule collection will debut on Nov. 15!
Even the most casual Cardi followers know that the entertainer and fashion lover has been a longtime wearer of the brand, and has continued to do so, even as high fashion has come calling.
A true connoisseur of high-low pairings who often wears Fashion Nova pieces in tandem with her luxury labels, it’s no wonder that Cardi describes the look of the upcoming collection as “rich and affordable.” From anyone else, this would be an oxymoron, but from the woman as at home with her grandparents back in the Bronx as front row at Fashion Week? We’ll allow it.
Of her inspiration for the collection, Cardi says she’s drawn on both her love of retro ’60s fashion and street style to co-create the looks. But most important to her diverse fanbase, they’ll be affordable and sized for all.
The Glow Up tip: If you want to get your hands on a few Cardi FN Fits, you’d better get your coins together—and be ready on Nov. 15, because they’ll no doubt sell out fast.
