Divorces can be messy—add celebrity to that, and you have a messy smorgasbord.

As the legal battle between Jesse Williams and Aryn Drake-Lee continues, the costs naturally increase. Williams filed for divorce in April 2017 and currently pays Drake-Lee $100,000 a month in child and spousal support.

Earlier this month, Drake-Lee requested that Williams pay $100,000 to her lawyer, E! News reports. However, Williams is shutting that shit down. Williams has denied his ex-wife’s plea, as well as her request for an additional $110,000 to pay her forensic accountant. The 37-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actor filed the paperwork this week.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Williams believes Drake-Lee is also “responsible” for paying her own attorneys’ fees and says, “this is not a free ride.”

“Aryn will likely claim she is losing money on her businesses yet even assuming this true, Jesse should not be prejudiced as a result of Aryn’s poor investment choices,” reads the documents, which accuses Drake-Lee of investing in art instead of paying her attorney team.

A trial for this hectic divorce case is scheduled to take place later this year. Williams and Drake-Lee married in 2012 and share two children together, 3-year-old Maceo and 5-year-old Sadie. The two have joint legal custody and a flexible physical custody plan in place.
