In a turn of events that no one saw coming, Chris Rock and Amber Rose are rumored to be dating after being seen together the day after Christmas. The duo were spotted walking the streets of New York City before reportedly making their way to Rock’s apartment.
The actor wore a simple outfit: a wool coat paired with black cargo pants, a button up shirt and a beanie cap. Kanye’s ex Rose kept things easy as well with a leather jacket, sweats and red sneakers. There were no public displays of affection, but they were all smiles as they strolled.
Rock was previously married to Malaak Compton-Rock from 1996 to 2016. During his Netflix special, “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage,” he claimed that he’s been relishing in being a bachelor. Rock has since been romantically linked to actress Lake Bell back in June 2022, but is seemingly on the market again.
“I’m single. I’ve been single for a long time. I was married for a long time. I was dating somebody for a while. Now I’m single,” Rock stated.
Rose, on the other hand, has not only famously dated Ye, but she was also married to Wiz Khalifa (whom with she shares a son), involved with 21 Savage, and welcomed a second child with Def Jam executive Alexander “A.E.” Edwards.
As much as this alleged union might be weird, it gets weirder because Rock was featured on West’s 2010 song “Blame Game ”from his “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” album. On the track—which many believe was about West’s relationship with Rose—Rock is heard complimenting a woman’s sexual prowess.
When he asked her where she learned her skills, the woman on the song replies “Yeezy taught me.” Earlier this year during a podcast interview, Amber stated: “I want to be single for the rest of my life.”
