Conservative-leaning newspaper the Washington Times announced on Thursday that it will be launching a magazine specifically targeting black conservatives, FishbowlDC reports.

The new magazine, called the American CurrentSee, will bring together big names in the black conservative world, including former neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who will be publisher; political commentator Armstrong Williams as executive editor; and Fox News' Juan Williams, who will contribute to the first issue, set to come out on Sunday, March 30.

The magazine, which will be a digital weekly, is just one of three huge developments at the newspaper, FishbowlDC notes. Another change is the addition of several big-name conservatives like Christine O'Donnell and Tom DeLay, who will be producing different types of content. The other involves the launch of travel-planning services on the website, so that “travelers [will be able to] read an article about an upcoming event or popular travel destination and book the associated trip on the spot.”
