Cardi B is putting her health and safety first. The rapper told her millions of followers that she has canceled her upcoming performance at ONE MusicFest this weekend due to a medical emergency.

In a post shared to her account on X (formerly known as Twitter), she wrote, “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE Music Fest.”

As The Root previously reported, Cardi is currently expecting her third child with Offset, from whom she’s divorcing, she announced this summer. At the time, sources reported that the split came from both sides, citing that it was “unavoidable” and “they’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time.” The two share two children together, Kulture, 6, and a son Wave, 3.

Since the divorce news hit the internet, however, Cardi and Offset have engaged in a pretty public back and forth. Just a few days ago, the “I Like It” rapper took to X was some serious thoughts about her ex, calling him narcissistic. She wrote in now-deleted tweets that she wishes “the worst” on “this man.”
