The third season of the wildly popular reality-television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta debuted last night. The new season introduced newcomer Phaedra Parks, a self-proclaimed "Southern belle," who spent more time with resident frenemy Dwight Eubanks than with the "housewives." Nene Leakes unveiled her new look, which includes a new nose that showed up in her commentary but not in the actual footage — at least not yet. The only thing more hilarious than that and Kandi's crooked wig was Kim Colziak feigning concern over her daughter's blossoming love life. She quipped that she hoped her daughters behaved with the same morals and values with which her parents raised her. Morals and values? OK. Kandi Burress, who is still dealing with losing her fiancé last year, is recovering and stepping back into the dating pool with Baltimore Raven Willis McGahee, who seems a little immature for the songstress. The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is full of old baggage and recycled relationships from people feigning friendship. Leakes proves that she is still the queen of insults, taking down former BFFs and everyone in between. Her tongue is like a machete, and when she is mad and drunk, there is no stopping her. The colloquialism "hot mess" makes a comeback when she confronts Dwight along with "her girls" Kim and Sheree about his alleged lies at an "upscale" designer-shoe showing. The only thing real about The Real Housewives is the inability to look away from what is sure to be a train wreck.
