On Tuesday, the federal indictment against Sean “Diddy” Combs was officially unsealed and released to the public and the details—about everything from his alleged “freak offs” to his mansion raids by Homeland Security earlier this year—will surprise you.
As previously reported by The Root, the disgraced Bad Boy mogul is facing three charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. And while the 14-page indictment contains a myriad of disturbing details and allegations, here are a handful of the most shocking ones:
Disturbing Details About Diddy’s “Freak Offs”:
As previously reported by The Root in the bombshell lawsuit lobbed against Diddy by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Johnson filed back in February, Diddy was alleged to have engaged in “freak offs “with multiple people. In the federal indictment released on Tuesday, more details are now coming out about those encounters.
“Combs used force, threats of force, and coercion to cause victims to engage in extended sexual performances with male commercial sex workers, some of whom he transported or caused to be transported over state lines. Combs allegedly planned and controlled the sex performances, which he called ‘freak offs,’” said U.S. Attorney Damian Williams during a press conference on Tuesday.
He went on to share how the indictment included details like the fact that those freak offs would last for days at a time, involved countless bottles of baby oil and personal lubricants, involved a myriad of drugs such as ketamine which the victims were supplied with in order to keep them subdued and engaged, and were allegedly recorded by Diddy on multiple occasions. These encounters reportedly also allegedly involved male sex workers and women. There have been no details as to who exactly was subjected to these activities by Diddy, but that could change in the near future.
More from the indictment:
Members and associates of the Combs Enterprise, including high-ranking supervisors, security staff, household staff, personal assistants, and other Combs Business employees, facilitated the Freak Offs by, among other things, booking hotel rooms for the Freak Offs; stocking the hotel rooms in advance with the required Freak Off supplies, including controlled substances, baby oil, lubricant, extra linens, and lighting; cleaning the hotel rooms after the Freak Offs to try to mitigate room damage; arranging for travel for victims, commercial sex 6 workers, and COMBS to and from Freak Offs; resupplying COMBS with requested supplies; delivering large sums of cash to COMBS to pay the commercial sex workers; and scheduling the delivery of IV fluids.
Exact Items Found in Diddy’s LA, Miami Mansion Raids
Towards the end of March, we told you how Diddy’s mansions in both Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security. During Tuesday’s press conference, Williams explained that according to the indictment, three defaced AR-15s were found in Diddy’s bedroom closet inside his Miami home.
There were also large-capacity drum magazines and evidence of the aforementioned “freak offs” which were captured on electronic devices in multiple photos and videos, and victims. Homeland Security officers also allegedly seized “more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant” and narcotics.
The Racketeering Conspiracy Contains Some Serious Drug Allegations
In one section of the indictment that contains the alleged proof as to how Diddy and his associates contributed to racketeering conspiracy, it details “multiple offenses involving the possession with intent to distribute, or distribution of narcotics and controlled substances” which include substances like: “cocaine, oxycodone, alprazolam (commonly known as Xanax), 3,4- Methy lenedioxymethamphetamine (commonly known as ecstasy or molly), 4-Bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethy lamine (commonly known as Nexus, a psychedelic drug), gamma hydroxybutyric acid (commonly known as Xyrem, a narcotic to treat narcolepsy), and ketamine.
