Well isn’t this the pot calling the kettle Black? Amber Rose decided to share her thoughts on Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign rally in Atlanta last month, accusing the politician of pandering to Black people during an interview on Adin Ross’ livestream Saturday (August 3).
Ironically, many believe the reality star herself was a prop of white supremacy when she spoke in support of Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention in July. However, Rose decided to remain steadfast in her hypocrisy while critiquing Harris.
She also took jabs at rapper Megan Thee Stallion for performing at the Atlanta rally. She called the “Savage” artist a “good person” but accused her and Harris of “pandering to Black people.” “I think that [Harris] thinks that that’s what Black people wanna see in order to vote for her,” Rose said.
“I think it’s absolute bullshit. I think that people in general just wanna know the policiesAll that, you know, the extra stuff, it’s cool, you know a concert and stuff like that, but what about the policies? How are you gonna ‘Make America Great Again?’ No pun intended!”
Rose herself found at the center of controversy for doing the exact thing she is trying to accuse Harris of by seemingly abandoning her feminist values to back Trump. Not only did she give a speech at the RNC, she also appeared as a video vixen alongside rapper Forgiato Blow for his song “Trump Trump Baby” which was played at the convention.
The song itself was a mockery of Black culture, but Rose either doesn’t see the failure of her ways or frankly doesn’t care. Meanwhile, Megan addressed her past and future haters who were upset about her rally performance at Chicago’s Lollapalooza last week.
“They was fake mad that I was popping it for Kamala,” Megan said to the audience Thursday (August 1). “I don’t think they heard what she said. Kamala said she wants a ceasefire. Kamala said she supports women’s rights. Kamala said she’s tired of these high gas prices.” She also shouted out “Hotties for Harris!” at the end of her remarks.
