Socialite Lori Harvey has become the first woman to grace Playboy magazine’s print issue in five years. The iconic media brand announced Thursday that it was bringing back its print magazine with Harvey as its glittery cover in a glossy video shared to Instagram.
“PLAYBOY returns to print with Lori Harvey on the cover. Preorder today. On stands 02.10.25,” teased the official Instagram account for Playboy, which also tagged Harvey in the post.
Social media users quickly rushed the comments section of the post to give their thoughts, and so far everyone seemed pleased that Playboy chose Harvey to bring its print magazine back.
“They knew who to get 😍❤️,” wrote one commentator. Another added, “Stop this will be the first and only time I will ever purchase Playboy.”
Others expressed general surprise over the announcement, with one commentator adding, “Was not expecting that but love it ❤️🔥.”
Details of Harvey’s interview in the issue are mostly mum, but Playboy has a history of pulling steamy bits from celebrities about their inner lives. The print issue will hit shelves February 10.
In August, Playboy announced that it would be bringing back its print issue but did not not give details on who would be its cover star. The brand said its print magazine will “feature everything that made the publication iconic: unforgettable photography, renowned features such as the Playboy Interview and Playboy Advisor, celebrity pictorials, and the Playmate Centerfold...”
Playboy also announced plans to revive its Playmate franchise “with a worldwide search for the 2024 and 2025 Playmate of the Year and a new class of Playboy Bunnies,” who will serve as brand reps at exclusive events all year.
