The Highest-Earning Black Content Creators of 2025, Including Druski and Kai Cenat

A handful of our favorite Black streamers, content creators and more have made Forbes Top Content Creators list. Let’s dive into it!

In the ever-changing world of social media, content creation has become one of the most powerful (and profitable) forms of entertainment; thankfully, some of our favorite Black creators are leading the charge! From skits that break the internet to livestreams that draw in millions, these digital stars have turned their personalities into full-fledged business empires.

And thanks to Forbes’ recently released list of the Top 50 Content Creators–we now know just how much cash they’re getting for talents. From people like Druski and Kai Cenat to more niche creators like Nara Smith and Monét McMichael, these folks aren’t just entertainers; they’re entrepreneurs, building brands that reach across platforms and cultures. What started as viral moments on TikTok, YouTube, or Twitch have grown into major sponsorships, partnerships that rival even some of today’s Hollywood paychecks.

Despite the still lingering disparity in pay, Black creators have proven that Black creativity is not only influential — it’s invaluable. So in celebration of their hustle, here’s a look at the top-earning Black content creators dominating the digital space, as noted by Forbes!

Who Are Content Creators and Streamers?

Before we get into that list though, let’s get clear on exactly who content creators and streamers are. To put it poetically, they’re the new-age storytellers, entertainers, and influencers who’ve built huge audiences across social platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and more. They create everything from comedy sketches, to lifestyle vlogs and live gaming sessions and have somehow figured out how to monetize it properly to provide adequate income and leave their 9 to 5s in pursuit of this instead.

For Black creators especially, they’ve learned to use content creation as a powerful avenue to showcase authenticity and representation on their own terms.

How Lucrative Is the Industry?

LAS VEGAS, NV – JANUARY 12: The YouTube logo appears on screen before a keynote address by Vice President of Global Content Partnerships at YouTube Robert Kyncl at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show at the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino January 12, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The short answer? Very. The creator economy has exploded into a multibillion-dollar industry, with top influencers, streamers and more earning more than some Hollywood stars or professional athletes. Between brand partnerships, sponsored content, streaming revenue, merch deals, and more , the opportunities for income are endless–especially for those who know how to keep their audiences engaged. Unfortunately, despite their success, Black creators often face pay gaps and algorithm bias that make their ascent to fame and more influence that much more impressive.

The Black Influence on Digital Culture

The last thing we’ll say about this is that it’s important to recognize how much Black creativity has and continues to shape the internet. From viral dances and memes and trends, Black creators and creatives have been setting the tone online for years — often without proper acknowledgement, accolades or compensation. Hopefully with more eyeballs on them thanks to this Forbes list, this will start a positive trend upward to making sure more Black folks in the creator economy get the proper coins they deserve. Now let’s get into the list!

Steve Bartlett

One could argue that Diary of a CEO creator Steve Bartlett is just as interesting as the people he interviews. And trust us when we say, his numbers do a good job at making that case as well. Bartlett reportedly rakes in $29M while his follower count across all platforms sits at 25 million followers.

Druski

Whether Druski is just a damn good comedian or a lowkey, undercover Black anthropologist–there’s no denying his viral videos, hilarious content, and all-around entertaining mood. As of now, his earnings clock in at $14M and his following a cool 25 million.

Khaby Lame

Getting caught up in the ICE drama didn’t do anything to damper Khaby Lame’s influence. In fact, his earnings sit at an impressive $20M while his follower count has grown to 258.5 million. Talk about having an impact!

iShowSpeed

The streamers are really making a name for themselves nowadays and iShowSpeed is one of them ones. His livestreams attract thousand and thousands of views, which why his earnings have reached $20M, and his followers have grown to 118.1 million.

Jordan The Stallion

Come here…now back up. Jordan The Stallion’s way of revealing fast food secrets, various food recipes and finding his alleged celebrity dopplegangers makes him one of the most entertaining creators out there. It’s no surprise that his content has managed to bring in $11M and 35.8 followers.

Kai Cenat

If there’s one name in the streaming/content creation business you need to familiarize yourself with, it’s Kai Cenat. We honestly a little surprised his numbers weren’t higher! Cenat’s earnings are at $8.5M while he boasts 66.1 million followers.
