After being postponed by the SAG-AFTRA strike, the Academy Museum held its 3rd Annual Gala on Sunday. The event raises money for the museum’s programs and exhibits. The star-studded affair was attended by Hollywood’s biggest names, including co-chair Ava DuVernay, Oprah Winfrey, Angela Bassett and Jon Batiste. There was so much Black Excellence on display, we had to celebrate it with a rundown of the spectacular red carpet.
