'Her voice has been described as one of the best of all time, and now Whitney Houston's music will make a comeback in a new album filled with live performances made throughout her career.

Clive Davis, the producer who launched Houston's career when she was a teenager, announced the new album on Tuesday. Davis has always described Houston, who died in 2012, as "the greatest vocalist in the world."
Houston's family gave the release of the album their blessings; they hope that it will highlight her illustrious career and allow people not to focus on her troubles.
"Whitney in the last two or three years of life was not in the best voice, so memories are short," Davis said, adding that this project will "demonstrate she was the best."

Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances will be released on Nov. 10. The CD will include 16 live songs and the DVD will feature 19 live performances, including Houston's 1994 rendition of "I Will Always Love You" at the Concert for a New South Africa and her 1991 performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Super Bowl XXV.
