"Although President Obama is certainly not the Antichrist, his policies are paving the way for the Antichrist," wrote Robert Jeffressโ€”the pastor of Dallasโ€™ 11,000-member First Baptist Churchโ€”in a press release for Perfect Ending.

Excerpts from the book, which were published at the Huffington Post, point to the presidentโ€™s open support of same-sex marriage as one of the reasons Obama is leading the U.S. to destruction.

"For the first time in history a president of our country has openly proposed altering one of societyโ€™s (not to mention Godโ€™s) most fundamental laws: that marriage should be between a man and a woman," he wrote. "While I am not suggesting that President Obama is the Antichrist, the fact that he was able to propose such a sweeping change in Godโ€™s law and still win reelection by a comfortable margin illustrates how a future world leader will be able to oppose Godโ€™s laws without any repercussions."
