Talk about adding insult to injury.
A South Memphis, Tenn., woman is in shock and is expediting a move after she says she caught two people having sex in her house and ransacking her home, WREG reports.
"It's horrible in there," the victim, Jamie Barnes, told the news station. "It's absolutely horrible in there. It's like they just had a big old nasty party."
According to the report, Barnes returned home after a few days away and was surprised to see her front door open. But what she found upon entering her home, she says, was even more shocking.
"Walk in and they're having sex on my couch," she said. "I pick up my broom, I wanted to hit that man so bad."
She said the man yelled, "I don't know nothing," over and over, while the woman tried to cover herself.
"She tried to grab one of my dresses and put it on and I snatched it from her, 'What are you trying to do?’” the outraged tenant recounted to the station.
Jamie Barnes said the man took off running and she tried to follow him but stopped when he got to an alley.
The woman, identified by authorities as Tonka Barnes, who is a stranger to Jamie Barnes, according to the station, was arrested on charges of aggravated burglary.
"They ransacked my house and stole all my stuff: jewelry, appliances, clothes," Jamie Barnes said.
One of Jamie Barnes' neighbors said he saw the couple taking bins of clothing out of the house and trying to sell some of her jewelry, according to the station.
"Crazy stuff," neighbor Christian Jones said. "You never think something like that would happen. They're getting too bold."
Jamie Barnes told WREG that she was already planning to move from the area, but that the crime just sped up her plans.
"I don't feel comfortable at this house, so in my eyes, I'm homeless," she said.
