Although Lil Wayne apologized for the asinine statements he made on the Black Lives Matter movement during a recently aired interview with ABC’s Nightline—first appearing to be unaware of the movement, then saying, “I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me … ”—that still didn’t stop his boy, rapper T.I., from giving him the business.

In a recently posted Instagram message, Tip told Tunechi pointedly: “You MUST STOP this buffoonery & coonin’ you out here doin.”

T.I., who says he was just shown a clip of Wayne’s BLM comments by his kids, recounts in his lengthy post how close a friend Wayne has been to him. "Reginae' spent countless times at my house with Niq-Niq when you were in prison & you extended my daughter the same courtesy when I was in the same position," he writes. He later suggests he had considered Wayne to be like another father to his kids, until he was made aware of his stance on BLM.

“You’re disrespecting yourself, bringing shame on your family name, and tarnishing your legacy,“ T.I. firmly tells Weezy. He ends by saying, “There is no such thing as oppression not affecting you. It’s #USorELSE out here.”
