We’ve already ugly-cried along with SZA’s dad to “Broken Clocks,” so now it’s time to check in on Mrs. SZA, who’s got wisdom and support to spare for anyone who needs balance in their life.

Earlier this week, SZA posted a screenshot of a text exchange with her mom to Twitter, featuring some of the most sincere and honest advice about time management I’ve seen in a long time.

The Top Dawg Entertainment star is about as close to on top of the world right now as you can be: beloved enough to be a total Grammy snub, featured on the soundtrack for one of the biggest movies of all time, and prepping for one of the summer’s most stupid-stacked tours with her labelmates. It’s a lot! But SZA’s mom wants her to stay focused on the present and seek help from others so that she can maximize her own time.

“To help change feeling stressed out and overwhelmed, jot down all the stuff that’s making you crazy, then write beside it what must be done NOW, what can be done LATER and what would be nice to do if you could but is OPTIONAL,” she wrote. “Focus only on the NOW. Don’t worry about the other stuff right now.”

Not at all speaking from personal experience, it seems stressful as hell to be this visible, and so hard to juggle everything at once. And honestly, it’s good to hear this, even as someone who will never perform in arenas. Tell your parents you love them. Also, charge your phone, SZA!!
