There are far too many to count, those who worship at the altar of Ms. Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carter.
But given that, it’s only fitting that this generation’s, er, Michael Jackson would just go ahead and get herself a church.
So, yeah, that’s what she did.
TMZ reports that Beyoncé recently purchased a 7,500-square-foot, 100-year-old stone church that was listed for $850,000. The church is reportedly not too far from where Bey’s sister (and strongman) Solange lives in New Orleans.
The church had reportedly been out of service for some years because its parishioners have passed away, but we all know that Bey would have no problem filling that place up if people even thought they could get a glimpse of her. On any given Sunday, that place would be more packed than a Big Freedia-Lil Wayne-Juvenile show during Mardi Gras.
So maybe it’s time to really worship at the feet of Queen Bey. Or maybe she’ll gift the building to Solange (her muscle). Or maybe she’ll make the place into a studio to commune with God through her songs.
Or maybe she’ll convert this church into another home, as she did once before.
Only Beysus knows.
