Suspect Wanted After Screaming Racist, Homophobic Slurs at a Man Before Attacking Him

A 32-year-old man was attacked by another man who shouted racial and anti-gay slurs at him in New York City's West Village neighborhood Sunday evening, the New York Daily News reports.

The attacker yelled,"[F—got! N—ger]!" before pushing the victim, causing him to fall and hit his head on a window frame, according to the report. The attacker then ran off.

The victim says he was simply walking down the street when the man began yelling at him.

According to the Daily News, the victim was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital to get treated for a gash in his head.

Cops are now looking for the suspect, who is described as a bald man in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
