Prosecutors in Suge Knight’s fatal-hit-and-run trial are doing their best to make sure he stays behind bars. According to the Associated Press, a motion cited by Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Barnes includes 31 incidents in which Knight has threatened people with violence. Barnes also included incidents of alleged money laundering and extortion tactics used against up-and-coming rappers.

Knight has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and attempted murder arising from a confrontation in which he is accused of running over two men with his vehicle, killing one. Knight’s attorney said his client is legally blind in one eye and did not mean to hit the men but was simply trying to escape an attack by the men.

Knight is scheduled to appear in court this morning for his bail hearing. If the prosecutors have it their way, bail will be set at $25 million. But something tells me that, even if it is that high, Knight won’t have any problem coming up with that amount.
