Add this to the list of arrests you aren't surprised to read about. It's almost less surprising than if news broke of rapper T.I. going to jail again.
Rapper Snoop Dogg was arrested yesterday in San Antonio for marijuana possession. Border-patrol agents found a small amount of marijuana on his tour bus.
Bill Brooks, a spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said that agents did a routine check at the U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint. "When our officers did a further inspection, they discovered a small amount of marijuana and turned him over to the Hudspeth County sheriff," Brooks told the Chicago Tribune.
The rapper admitted that the pot belonged to him. He will be in court on Jan. 20 and faces 180 days in jail if convicted.
We highly doubt that this will be a big deal for the rapper. Being pulled over for pot possession is just a blip on the radar for an entertainer.
