Karens never fail to interrupt a good time for absolutely no reason. This time, this mix-match-sock wearing white woman jumped in the middle of a street performance in New Orleans and refused to leave.
All around the French Quarter are vendor stands and street performances whether it be dancers, comedians or a funky jazz band. In a TikTok posted this month, a group of families were seen gathered around a crew of Black men putting on their show. It seemed they were close to the finale when suddenly, a red-headed white woman stomped in the middle of the performance circle. With one long black sock, one short pock-a-dot sock and an ugly rainbow sweater, she busted a rather jarring dance move and threw both of her middle fingers up. Yes, in front of the children.
It’s unclear what her problem was but she was determined to stay put despite the entertainers asking her politely to leave.
“Hey sweetheart, there’s kids here. You should have some respect. Could you please leave?” one of the entertainers said over the mic.
She stood with her hands folded, shaking her head. The crowd boo’ed her and the entertainers appeared to bargain with her but to no avail. Then, finally, one of the performers pulled an Uno Reverse on the woman and asked someone to call the cops on her… and it worked!

As the crowd chanted, “Take her home!” the officers seemed to have a lengthy conversation with the Karen over whatever her complaint was regarding the street performance. As the entertainers geared up their show to begin again, the cops were seen in the video escorting the Karen out the way as the crowd cheered. If being the center of attention was this woman’s wish, she certainly got what she wanted.
