Other than the San Francisco 49ers, the biggest loser of the 2024 Super Bowl was Swizz Beatz, and he didn’t even do anything.
Unless you were sleeping under a rock, Usher once again proved why he’s the King of R&B and shut down the Super Bowl Halftime show with an incredible performance. While he was the show’s star, he had a couple of shocking guests help him with his show, including Alicia Keys (who was previously announced), Lil Jon, H.E.R., and Ludacris.
While all artists had their moments to shine, Usher and Keys had people talking once they took the stage together to perform their classic 2004 song, “My Boo.” The duo got especially cozy, but when Usher hugged and caressed Keys, Black Twitter clowned the legendary hip-hop producer.
Nobody is saying Darius Jackson was correct for the way he reacted to Keke Palmer’s night out with Usher, but it seems that he was worried about a situation like this happening.
Unlike Palmer’s ex-boyfriend, Beatz did not seem to have a problem with his lady putting on a show in front of millions of people across the world.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, he responded to the jokes, writing, “Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing !!! y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium. “
He continued, “Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants! Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic. We don’t do negative vibes on this side we make history.”
In the end, it’s good to see that Beatz enjoyed the performance just as much as everyone at home did because it was one hell of a show from the King of R&B.
