She may break records, perform show-stopping routines and dominate competitions against some of the best athletes in the world, but at the end of the day, Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles is just like us.
She loves hanging out with her girls.
She loves cheering on her husband at his football games.
And at 4 feet 8 inches tall, she has a hard time finding jeans with the perfect fit.
The most decorated American gymnast of all time – who happens to be 7 inches shorter than the average American woman – shared her struggle on social media this week.
“Before y’all complain that nothing fits y’all, I want y’all to see my struggle…” Biles wrote on her Instagram story on Monday (August 26). “So hard to find bottoms that fit me🙃” she added. “But when I find them🫶🏾🫶🏾💯💯🙌🏾🙌🏾😍😍 my heart.”
The story included a picture of a pair of Ultra High Rise 90s Straight Jeans from Abercrombie & Fitch in size 23/000. Fans of the popular jeans love them for the built-in stretch that makes them comfortable enough to wear all day.
“Finally! Loose fitting jeans for me as a tiny girl that don’t feel like I’m swimming in them. I love that these are just plain and classic,” wrote one happy customer in a review on the Abercrombie site.
Although she may have a hard time finding clothes to fit her petite frame, Biles does have calves that #FitnessGoals, according to Team USA basketball player and NBA forward Kevin Durant.
“I wish I had that kind of muscle in my calves. I’m going to have to get in the gym for that,” he told Olympics.com host Nick McCarvel after watching Biles go for gold in the women’s gymnastics all-around competition during the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
