It’s no secret that Danai Gurira’s fiercely-fit frame is #bodygoals, or that the actress, writer and activist is also a force to be reckoned with, stealing scenes in Black Panther and The Walking Dead, and regularly killing it on the red carpet.

Now, Gurira can add another credit to her resume: she’s the latest to star in a campaign for Reebok, a role that feels especially fitting for the 40-year-old’s super-healthy lifestyle.

In an official statement, Todd Krinsky, GM of Reebok Performance said, “Danai brings with her a unique intensity that’s already inspired countless women to discover their own strength. We’re thrilled to have her join our family and help lead this inspiring coalition.”

That coalition of women includes Wonder Woman Gal Gadot, who partnered with the brand in March, along with UFC champ Ronda Rousey, Gigi Hadid and Ariana Grande. As the brand’s latest #BeMoreHuman campaign star, Gurira plans to infuse her already-inspiring presence with a healthy dose of activism.

“We all view strength differently: through physicality, through mental fortitude, through honesty and perhaps most importantly through community,” Gurira said in an official statement. “My goal is to work with Reebok to galvanize women in all communities to find strength within themselves so that we may continue to lead this cultural revolution. Each one of us should be a hero to each other.”

Gurira’s page on Reebok’s site is an absolute inspiration station, including fitness tips, words of encouragement (“One of the key things is to listen to your body and challenge it at the same time,” the star says), and sweetly, a letter she wrote to her younger self, with words of advice we can all benefit from.
