If you missed the official announcement, then let us catch you up. Back in October, Rosado posted a since-deleted post to her X/Twitter accoount announcing she and OchoCinco would be calling it quits after four years together. The impetus? Questionable texts from another woman and other things she found in his phone, which she explained in a past interview with Carlos King earlier this month.
βI found out about it and I was like f*ck this sh*t, you know who I am? Like, I know who you are Iβm gonna respect what you have,β she explained at the time. βBut it is what it is and nobodyβs perfect. But I just feel like, when things happen be honest about it. It shouldnβt lead to that point of how Iβm finding out.β
Now, Rosado is speaking out about the aftermath of the breakup in a new interview with the New York Post. In it, she addressed internet speculation that her relationship with the former NFL star was just for publicity and maintained that no matter what their family and children would come first.
βIf it was just PR then we wouldnβt have a child together, I mean, make it make sense,β Rosado said, referring to their two-year-old daughter. βI think some people just speculate and assume or, you know, wish their situations were different and wish they had their situation the same as ours at times. But people are going to speculate. At the end of the day, we know what we have, we know what we created. If weβre together or not, weβre going to support each other.β
And while the two may not be together anymore, that doesnβt mean they wonβt be in each otherβs orbit. As we all know, OchoCinco and Shannon Sharpe host the βNightcapβ podcast together. But what you may not know is that Sharpeβs production company also produces βHumble Baddies,ββa podcast with Rosado and her fellow βW.A.G.s to Richesβ cast members Ashley Wheeler, and Alexis Stoudemire.
Though Sharpe hasnβt picked sides when it comes to the breakup between the two, Rosado said he and OchoCinco would still be supportive of her endeavors.
βHe gets on the both of us, and thatβs what I love about having him,β Rosado said of Sharpe. βSometimes he can be our therapist and we both would be on the phone with him and he would give us advice. So we appreciate just having a great support system.β
