CBS Sports reports that Serena Williams was back on the tennis court today after suffering from a series of health problems.

She took to Twitter to prepare fans for her return, drumming up interest with, "Cool news guys stay tuned.. Ill update u with a pic.. U ready??" Then came the big announcement: "Look who I spotted on the court. Her first day back…" Followers got proof in the form of a link to picture of her in a neon pink bodysuit, midway through a serve.

Later, she added, "My life change starts today. Healthy living both physically and spiritually. #focused"

After winning her fourth singles championship at the All England Club last year, Williams cut her foot on glass at a restaurant, spending 10 weeks in a cast and 10 in a walking boot. Then, in February, she was diagnosed with blood clots in her lung. After that, she said she needed treatment for a hematoma on her stomach.

Williams hasn't said when she might compete again (Her agent says she's "taking it day by day" and "very happy to be back on the court"), but today's cheerful tweets and attention-grabbing wardrobe selection suggest that she's ready to be back in the sports spotlight sooner rather than later.
