In the weeks and months following his untimely death, so much has been revealed about the business machinations of one Ermias Asghedom, aka rapper, community activist and visionary businessman Nipsey Hussle.
Now, comes the announcement of the launch of yet another of his business ventures: a deal for a clothing line with Puma.
According to the New York Daily News, the fashion collaboration between Puma and Hussle’s TMC (The Marathon Continues) line will be available for purchase beginning Sept. 5.
As Hussle’s team explained in a post to Instagram, the “collaborative capsule” collection was one that the slain rapper had been working on last year, “flying to meetings, reviewing samples, bringing in materials he liked, and most importantly ensuring that it reflected his style authentically with no compromise.”
No details yet on what all the collection will include, but, as the post indicates, it will definitely feature khakis and track suits.
Hussle was no stranger to Puma, as Page Six notes, having served as a face of the brand prior to his death, and worked with the company on various community service projects.
Puma and Hussle’s team teased the fact that the fashion collaboration was “coming soon” this past spring.
And Hussle himself had shared news of the collaboration in a post he made to Instagram March 4 — just weeks before he was gunned down in front of his Marathon clothing store in Los Angeles.
