Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested early Monday morning after a car he was in crashed into a Dallas bar, injuring five people.

Boykin, a former standout at Texas Christian University, was a passenger in the car that crashed into Sidebar Bar around 2 a.m., Fox 4 News reports.

According to the news station, police believe that the driver, 26-year-old Shabrika Baley, was drunk when she reversed in a parking garage and backed into the front of the bar.

“Four people on the crowded sidewalk were hit by the car, and a bartender inside the club was injured as the car pushed through the front wall. Three of them were taken to the hospital with injuries like a broken ankle and a dislocated arm. None have life-threatening injuries,” Fox 4 News reports.

Boykin was arrested for drug possession and public intoxication. The news station was quick to point out that this wasn’t Boykin’s first run-in with the law.

Boykin was the starting quarterback for the Horned Frogs in 2014 and 2015. As a junior, Boykin led the team to No. 3 ranking and a Peach Bowl victory. That next year, Boykin was arrested for reportedly hitting an officer during a bar fight days before the Alamo Bowl.

Boykin remains in a Dallas County jail, and Baley is expected to face two counts of intoxication assault.
