Schwarzenegger to Send California National Guard Troops to the Mexican Border

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger announced today that he will be sending 224 members of the California National Guard to patrol the Mexican border. In an effort to curb illegal immigration and drug, weapon and human trafficking, Schwarzenegger is stepping up his efforts to "protect the American people." Yeah, OK. We thought it had to do with the upcoming election season.
