There’s probably a “hate how much I love you” joke in here somewhere, but at the moment, we’re too busy being annoyed that a mere hour after we finished waxing poetic about Fenty’s newest shade of Stunna Lip Paint (no, really: we were just on the site an hour ago), they’ve debuted another.
Captioning an Instagram post “Y’all thought we were done? We’re just getting started...” Fenty announced “Uncuffed,” a rosy mauve shade that the brand says replicates the look of being “just kissed.”
Admittedly, it’s been a minute since we were kissed. But at first glance, this shade is significantly pinker than the brown-hued “Unveil” the brand, well, unveiled on Friday, and while it doesn’t inspire quite the same rush as the chocolate-brown shade, satisfies that market that’s not quite ready for a brown lip.
That said, the brand has labeled this #StunnaWeek, so now we’re just sitting in wait for more reveals before Friday. Maybe a super-saturated fuchsia? A hotter than hot coral? A conversation-stopping charcoal? A brilliant blue?
Who knows? But we’re not writing another word until we’ve seen them all.
In the meantime, while we spent the weekend once again trying to find love in a hopeless place (*cough* New York City, or most major urban areas), Rihanna’s team was unveiling not only two addictive new shades of Stunna Lip Paint, but a capsule collection that combines her philanthropy and her fashion.
Last weekend, Savage x Fenty debuted a three-piece lingerie set that includes a logo tank, bikini briefs and satin robe, all benefiting her Clara Lionel Foundation, which she celebrated on September 13 with her annual Diamond Ball. The set, which includes sporty separates and an embroidered robe, ranges from $63-$68. Honestly, as much as we love a strong lip—and the Diamond Killawatt Highlighter Fenty launched in July—if this isn’t the most relaxing (and sexy?) way to raise money for several great causes, we don’t know what is.
