The icon who brought drag mainstream is now giving us a bit of the magic to bring home. Twenty-five years after he launched the philanthropic Viva Glam collection with MAC, RuPaul is once again lending his glamour to a beauty brand; this time with friend and celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal.

Roncal is perhaps best known for being Beyoncé’s longtime face-maker (full disclosure: having worked with her myself in my modeling days, she’s a genius). She’s also a woman of color whose line, Mally Beauty, remains in high demand on QVC, making this collaboration one to watch in the beauty space.

“She embodies everything I love about makeup and the playfulness of it,” RuPaul told Allure, which previewed the limited-edition line. “When she asked me to collaborate, I thought, ‘Absolutely’.”

What can we expect from the Mally x RuPaul collection? From the looks of it, an incredibly wearable 16-product line with options for eyes, lips, cheeks and even Roncal’s famed primer ($37), repackaged in gold in honor of Ru.

“These are the colors that I wear all the time, and they absolutely work,” said RuPaul. “There’s something there for everyone. It’s fun to play with the trends, but you want to keep going back to the classics. There’s a lot of fun there, too.”

What have I got my eye on? Well, the 18-shade eyeshadow palette ($40), of course (as if I need another palette). Aside from offering a bevy of stunning matte and shimmer shades, the colors are all named for RuPaul-isms, like “Sashay” and “Starrbooty”—and the pigments look incredible. Also on my to-try list is the Draglash mascara ($29), which promises to give lashes drag-level drama in just a few swipes.

Of course, there’s much more to love; the entire collection will premiere on QVC on Sept. 20 and 21—so get ready to sashay, Shanté.
