Administrators at Rutgers University have a new recruitment tool they can include when they talk about campus life. According to InterracialMatch.com (the self-proclaimed No. 1 interracial-dating site in the world), the New Brunswick, N.J., campus is the top college for interracial dating. No. 2 on the list? Stanford in California.

The Star-Ledger reports:

"It's not a taboo for them," said Darren Shuster, a public relations specialist representing the site. "Rutgers also happens to have a racially diverse population."

About 45 percent of Rutgers' student population is white, while about 20 percent are Asian, 12 percent are Latino, 10 percent are African-American, six percent are international and seven percent are listed as other, according to the school's website.

The site gathered its information using 15,000 questionnaires submitted by its users with ".edu" email addresses. Participants were between the ages of 18 and 25. Although there's no specific breakdown as to the types of interracial relationships (Are they mostly black and white students? Asian and Latino?), respondents were asked whether they were in or would consider being in an interracial relationship.
