Kiss is trying to help you accentuate your slay all 2019. Debuting new designs at several New York Fashion Week shows, the drugstore favorite recently dropped their newest lines of luxe artificial lashes and nails at a “see now, buy now” presentation in New York City—because they know we need it now.

The masterminds behind the brand have been diligently following the trends we beauty junkies are most into, to make sure they are giving us what we want. According to statistics provided by the beauty brand, the two fastest-growing categories in the beauty industry are faux lashes and nail art-embellished artificial nails. Facts: Artificial nail art grew by 13% in 2018, while artificial lashes grew by 27%.

And Kiss makes it easier than ever to take the look from runway to real life, making the luxury look you crave available for a fraction of the price and time. Think instant glamour—in the drugstore aisle!

The Glow Up stopped by the Kiss pop-up to try out all the newest goodies in person, including the brand’s Masterpiece Nails, the next generation of its popular ImPress one-step press-on gel manicure, and the eye-popping Lash Couture Naked Drama collection.

Without hesitation, I can say the new Masterpiece Nails were what I was most excited about, because I am all about that nail art life. This line of nails comes in four styles, each with 30 nails and 12 accent nails ($11.99). That’s jewels, marble, goldleaf, and foil that you can customize and mix and match to your heart’s desire—and they come in coffin and stiletto shapes. You already know that getting decked-out nails can cost hundreds of dollars in the salon; if you’re strapped for time like me (thanks to my busy 2-year-old), this will be a nice addition to your beauty arsenal. The nails are durable, sturdy and breathable. I speak from (newfound) experience.

Another luxury for this working mom? Trying out the new Naked Drama Lashes, faux mink lashes offering a sheer glam look that works well in any situation. They’re not too over-the-top, but still statement-making. The lashes come in four styles for you to play with. My natural lashes are pretty short and curled, so the Naked Drama Lashes made my hooded eyes pop, and I was definitely feeling myself. I started batting my eyelashes as much as I could, because why not?

I didn’t want to take them off at the end of the night, but such is life. I’ll be back at it again on another day when I’m trying to be extra without looking like I tried too hard. In the meantime, you can find all of these new finds in your local beauty aisle, while you’re shopping for other essentials (and yes, these are essentials). After all, who doesn’t love an effortless werk out?
