First White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel was rumored to be eyeing the Chicago mayor's office. Now speculating is mounting that Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. may be throwing his hat into the ring. One thing is for sure — Rahm Emanuel met privately with Jackson Wednesday night to discuss the Chicago mayor's race, sources close to Emanuel and Jackson said. The meeting is the latest sign that both men are considering entering the race. Both have previously expressed interest in becoming Chicago's mayor. We suppose that one of the topics of discussion at the meeting was the mayoral race, which is sure to be hotly contested. We may have to dust off our "Run, Jesse, Run" posters after all.
