Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has been convicted of one count of making false statements to the FBI. The judge declared a mistrial on the other 23 counts, because the jurors said they were deadlocked on those counts, and on all four counts against his brother Robert. Blagojevich, 53, faces up to five years in prison. And yet another example of why Blago is not blacker than President Obama, because we suspect that the outcome would have been different had Obama been the defendant.
